Description
Because of the different variants, the Tractor Tom can be used for multiple types of transportation:
Transport carts
When a uniform working height in the factory with corresponding location flexibility is required, a transport cart is a good solution. The transport cart is placed close to the work area, the pallet lying on the transport cart is manually or automatically filled with goods. Next, the transport cart will be moved to the next operation, possibly being placed in or near a machine.
Depending on the customer’s wishes, the transport of the transport carts can be performed by Tractor Tom with elevator function, pull pin or a combination of these.
From trestle to trestle pallet transport
Tractor Tom with lift effortlessly moves pallets from trestle to trestle. The Automated Guided Vehicle drives under the pallet which is positioned in a trestle. From a height of 355 mm it lifts 70 mm upwards and can also put it back at this height elsewhere. Because the AGV Tractor Tom is completely under the pallet, it needs minimal space to move.
