Easy identification of laser parts

Following up on the KUMA Pro, the KUMA Basic is also an immediate value-add behind the laser cutter.

Identifying laser-cut parts is a pain point in the process within many companies. Parts are difficult to distinguish, the quality is not 100% or the quantity turns out to be incorrect at the welding department or even the customer.

Checking all laser parts for quality and quantity was a complicated process until previously, but thanks to the KUMA Basic and KUMA Pro, this has been significantly simplified. Unlike the KUMA Pro, which provides laser parts with an inkjet marking after “reverse engineering” using 3D vision, the KUMA Basic has a label printer on which the correct data is printed. This allows laser parts to be checked for quality and quantity quickly and inexpensively, and also prints a label with a QR code on it to call up digital drawings, control machines or develop a traceability system.

All in all, this makes sheet metal parts SMART and allows the entire internal production process to be optimized quickly and easily!
